BLILEY-BONNELL WEDDING CERTIFICATE

In reality, not very much is known of the lives of Josephine and Elliott Bonnell. But, we do have their wedding certificate to study. It is currently in the hands of their great grandson Elliott McConnell of Rockport Texas.

Elliott Bonnell's hometown is listed on the certificate as "Petersburgh, Pennsylvania". The index to the 1895 Pennsylvania State Atlas places Petersburgh in Lancaster County.

 Enlarged View (160 kb)
(A high resolution copy (300 dpi) is available on CD from their great grand-nephew Charles A. Bliley.)

GOSPEL HILL CEMETERY (ASSOCIATED FAMILY MEMBERS)

One of Harbor Creek's cemeteries is the Gospel Hill Cemetery located on Station Road next to the current campus of the Pennsylvania State University at Behrend. This cemetery holds the remains of 12 Bonnells but not Elliott and Josephine. Photos of the cemetery and an index compiled by the Harbor Creek Historical Society are available on this site by clicking here.
